Thanksgiving has come and gone, and we opened our can of Watkins Turkey Rub today and rubbed it on the turkey with butter. It was delicious. My only advice is be sure and add salt to the bird, and get some Turkey Rub before it's all gone. The Turkey Rub from Watkins is only available this fall, and may or may not be reintroduced next fall. It's part of Watkins seasonal line, Seasonal Favorites 2008. But the good news is if you get a can of it, it looks like it might last a while. We used it on an 8.9-pound turkey today and hardly made a dent in the can.
